Entering my Moira Rose phase

Adios, hair. As anticipated, my hair started falling out after the second treatment. Glass half full, it is really hot and I had a lot of hair so I will perhaps be a bit cooler this summer?

The oncologist recommended a wig to help me feel a bit more comfortable when out and about, and I have loaded up on caps, wraps and cotton hats (thank you, Etsy).

A big thank you to AL for going with me to try on wigs, MJ for scouring the internet and finding the “right” wig, and my hairdresser JO giving the stamp of approval and being so kind when she chopped off my hair. Your support and friendship made this a much easier process and gave me some laughs. Who wants to name the wig? 😆

And for those of you here for an update post round 2, it’s been a good week so far. Learning to pace myself and learn limits. Like most of the world, it has been hot here and I am staying indoors and enjoying air conditioning. Happy Wednesday! 😘

  1. Moira is pretty cool company to be in and I am here for any/all wig naming shenanigans. “One must champion one’s self!” xox
