How is it August and time for kids to start heading back to school? This was one of my favorite times of the year as a kid and my love of school supplies is strong – who doesn’t love new pencils, pens and notebooks? The hope of a new school year, getting to see friends you missed over the summer?
Leading me to, today the Bill Gates Foundation is doing a 50% match at Donors Choose. If you aren’t familiar with the site, teachers can post projects that need funding and you can fund the project. It was fun to start off the day making donations to local schools.
Thank you to all of the teachers! Good luck in the coming school year. You truly have one of the hardest jobs and I appreciate, respect and love all of you! 😘
