To maintain mental health, once or twice a week I head to Starbucks or Dunkin’ or wherever to grab a coffee at the drive-thru. It gives me a break from the house and a chance to listen to NPR. And gives me a short break from the four walls of our house.

Today, the coffee is hopefully going to help me through my post-treatment energy dip. Tuesdays and Wednesdays after my treatment seem to be when my energy is at its lowest, so caffeine and pacing myself is the plan.
