Round two is in the books. Crossing my fingers I weather this one as well as the last. Luckily, no issues with finding the port today (a couple of misses at my blood draw last Friday 🫤) and I get a week off next week. Blood counts were good. 🥳

And in the absurdity of our health care industry, my refill for anti nausea meds was denied this afternoon. While my treatments are on a 14 day schedule, CVS Caremark has determined it can only be refilled on a 21 day schedule. We have the resources to pay out of pocket. But so many others do not. And many may not have a nice pharmacist research the least expensive place to fill the prescription, or the ability to drive around town to pick up the least expensive option. And so, it really may be rage that gets me through this. Health care is a human right.

To end on a light note, guess who found out her neighbor works in oncology during a breast exam today. 🙋🏻‍♀️ He was extremely professional and at this point there is no modesty, and by the end or this I may be asking, “who hasn’t seen my boobs?” 😂
