Today was day one. Shorter than anticipated and made easier by having my parents as sidekicks and the kind medical and support staff. For those curious, I have two types of chemo:
First up: The A and C drugs, known by some as “the red devil”. It is definitely red. And I chew ice while it is pushed to prevent mouth sores (only five minutes). This one is every two week for four treatments. So, today I am 25% done. 😁
Taxol is round two of chemo. It starts two weeks after finishing the A and C, and will last 12 weeks. Cross your fingers that treatment goes according to schedule.
